Our Mission

We aim to spark curiosity, help children be better students, relieve burdensome stress, encourages creative thinking, boosts self-esteem, and provides a sense of accomplishment.

Scent is a tool used to enable happiness, relaxation, excitement and joy, resulting in happier children. It can even change the structure and function of the brain.

There is no need to feel intimidated about smelling since it’s the process of smelling and discovering that provides the benefits, not the quality of the results.Learn More

Our Workshops

This program is presented in a dynamic and fun way. It is a pioneer by way of progressive and emotional learning for our youth. Being present and aware are two cornerstones for success in our workshop and in lives.

Each workshop establishes an increased sense of awareness around scent and self in our children’s everyday lives. When children think differently about scent, they do brain “neurobics”, which creates stronger brain plasticity. Scent will becomes a vehicle for stronger memory recognition, emotional response, mood and reconnection to the world around them.

We offer 2, 4, 6 and 8 session workshops. All depends on age and level of scent immersion requested. Workshops are custom created as raw materials are driven by seasonality.

Supporting Programming

This program is presented in a dynamic and fun way that fosters CORE and supports NRC Framework. It aims at helping to achieve reaching CORE goals and is a pioneer by way of progressive and emotional learning for our youth as well as practical application of science.  Learning mirrors the UNIS view on learning.

Whole brain thinking

Creativity involves getting both hemispheres of your brain to communicate with each other.  The most complicated functions that humans perform, such as thinking creatively, learning a language, or playing or listening to music, all require whole-brain thinking. Every time you engage in a new or complex activity, your brain creates new connections between brain cells.  Your brain’s ability to grow connections and change throughout your lifetime is called brain plasticity, or neuroplasticity.

Our Impact

We foster humanitarians, respectful, self confident, problem solvers, out of the box thinkers and can do’ers. Children of all ages to discover and begin to understand the magic of scent and how it’s so useful in their everyday lives.

Scent is an etherial, intangible experience, one can not hold a scent molecule, children try to investigate, explore and find ways to solve for not being able to see the scent. They enjoy being heard, their answers are personal and individual to each of their selves.

When children are able to identify how something smells, they feel a sense of very personal achievement. Its extremely powerful when each child in class feels they are successful. The process of scent awareness from start to finish builds much more than “how to smell”, its a vehicle for building self and community in a healthy way.

When children are given raw materials and scents to practice with, they experience curiosity and excitement. Confidence, pride and self assuredness follows. Scent creates a safe space where everybody is entitled to their experience and feel they have an equal say.

Volunteers find that they too, learn about scent and life. Children become a tool for learning and looking inward to our own selves. As we engage with them and encourage them to be creative, we cant help be creatives ourselves. It’s a very refreshing class to volunteer in.

School communities

Schools who support learn through play, reggio based, experiential learning, stem, CORE and whole self learning principals all agree in the value of building the sense of scent as a larger part to education and creating open minded, out of the box and forward thinkers who are driven from within.

Some young students learn all about their sense of smell.  The lessons focus on how our sense of smell becomes a vehicle for stronger memory recognition and reconnection to the world around us. During an event Monday, the kids had a chance to smell different spices, herbs and fruits and talk about how it makes them feel.~NY1 NEWS STATION
